How Financing Works for a Rovikk Trailer
← All Guides

Buying a trailer is a real purchase, and most people don't pay for it outright. Here's how financing actually works if you're buying from Rovikk (formerly Teardrops NW).

Rovikk Doesn't Offer In-House Financing

This is worth knowing upfront: Rovikk isn't a lender, and doesn't offer its own financing program. Most customers finance through their own bank or credit union, the same way they might finance a car or boat. Rock Solid Funding is one option some buyers use, though Rovikk isn't affiliated with them — it's simply one option among several, not a preferred partner.

The Financing Process

Rovikk lays this out as a straightforward four-step process:

01
Pre-Qualify
Start with a soft credit check through Rock Solid Funding, or secure financing through your own bank or credit union.
02
Configure Your Build
Finalize your Rovikk options and price. That number feeds directly into your loan application.
03
Lock In Your Spot
Once approved, a 20% deposit secures your place in the production queue.
04
Pick Up & Roll Out
Final payment is due prior to pickup — plenty of time to hit the trail.

If you're going the custom Coachworks route, the sequence is a bit different: a separate $2,500 design fee is required upfront, before the four-meeting design phase begins. Once that design phase wraps up, a 20% deposit secures the build — so the deposit comes after design, not right after the fee.

What Rovikk Can Help With

Whichever lender you go through, Rovikk can provide any documentation your lender needs to process the loan — things like a purchase agreement, model specs, or pricing confirmation.

Getting Started

Once you have a sense of your budget and financing plan, the easiest next step is comparing models to see real pricing, then reaching out if you need documentation for your lender. Rovikk's financing page also has a payment calculator if you want to estimate monthly payments before you commit to a model.
